KOOLBOX Refrigerated Containers Key Features

KOOLBOX Refrigerated Containers are purpose-built, portable containers designed to operate as a short-term refrigeration solution or temporary replacement for commercial freezers and/or refrigerators. Each KOOLBOX container has been quality assured and will be delivered clean and fully operational. KOOLBOX refrigerated, portable containers have the following features:

  • Weatherproof, adequately insulated containers designed to operate as a commercial freezer or refrigerator
  • Large, 52” insulated door with concealed heat strip along the edge to eliminate icing
  • Operates at temps as low as 0°F-3°F for freezing applications or 35°F – 45°F as a cooler.
  • Anti-slip aluminum flooring and smooth, washable interior walls, interior lighting
  • Operates on 110V, 20-amp GFI circuit. (No fuel or 220V Outlet Required)
  • Wi-Fi temperature condition monitoring capability with alarm notification feature
  • Exterior thermometer with additional Exterior LED lighting for visual monitoring
  • Ground level access with optional loading ramp
  • Expedited delivery and setup options for emergency conditions
  • Short and long-term rentals
  • Available in 8’X12’ 450 cubic ft and 8’X16’ 600 cubic ft

KOOLBOX Refrigerated Containers provide the perfect solution for short-term refrigeration or temporary replacement for commercial freezers or refrigerators. Each container can be monitored remotely and is designed to maintain a consistent range of temperatures around 35°F - 45°F as a refrigerator or 0°F - 5°F as a commercial freezer. (Temps may vary depending on defrost cycles.) Best of all, KOOLBOX Refrigerated Container units operate on a simple 110–115V AC dedicated outlet, eliminating issues associated with refueling or the challenges associated with locating 220-volt power near the exterior of the facility.
